We seek a full time chef to be responsible for food service of the company. The position includes responsibility for the operation and service of the kitchen and dining room during his/her shifts. Responsibilities include assisting in developing planned menus to prepare food in accordance with a wholesome, nutritious diet, maintaining a high level of cleanliness throughout the food service areas, ordering and proper storage of food orders, and promoting a positive, welcoming atmosphere at the company for guests and staff.
Qualifications: Experience in hospitality and food service, excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with a wide variety of guests and staff, and experience in menu planning, food cost, and budgeting. Proven ability to plan independently, organize, schedule, coordinate, and make decisions and judgements relating to responsibilities.
Salary commensurate with experience, split shifts, benefits package.
