KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Deliver Sourcing Strategies:
- Create purchasing leverage and gain from synergies across divisions.
- Develop Commodity TCO, benchmark and intelligence.
- Contract BT Standard Sub-systems.
- Prepare & present Commodity presentations.
- Align early sourcing plans with CTO vehicle Platforms prior to Bid Phase.
- Develop ‘best-in-class’ Supplier Base & Performance
- Optimize supply base of Master Vendors (MV)
- Supplier performance monitoring of Global Master Vendors (GMV)
- Supplier Relation Management with Global Master Vendors (GMV)
- Lead Supplier Selection during Bid phase:
- Validate Commodity Sourcing Plan with bid team.
- Support RFQ & SOE process for key bids.
- Validate Procurement BB inputs for the Commodity
- Manage Commodity material costing activities
- Deliver Commodity Should Cost
- Implement Frame agreements for BT Standard Sub-systems
- Negotiate best terms and conditions (T&C’s) for GMV contracts or correct MV sourcing mandate allocation
- Support GMV claims
- Network Management; Communicate & share information and best practices
- Build BT Commodity Network external, cross divisional, cross functional & coerce cooperation wherever needed
- Perform regular reviews of Strategies, Sourcing Decisions and network strategic actions
- Ensure 2-way communication with Regions/BU

Qualifications
- MBA, BA, Engineering degree
- More than 5 years experience in purchasing related role, ideally with more than 2 years in a strategic sourcing role or advanced knowledge in a specialized role for the product and/or commodity
- Management skills within matriarchal organizations
- Financial awareness and experience in cost structure analysis, cost control activities, target settings
- Strong negotiation skills
- Strong communication and diplomacy skills
- Ability to guide, influence and convince others
- Mobility to travel internationally if required
- Good command of English; any other European language is an asset
