KEY RESPONSABILITIES & CHALLENGES
- Specify, execute and report the mandatory HW tests performed on electronic products;
- Develop and maintain the test environment used for HW testing;
- Review requirements and designs with respect to testability (Design for Test), within electronics development projects;
- Review results from tests and field returns, and initiate corrective actions related to test and production when required;
- Interact with Supply Management and Quality to ensure relevant KPI's (e.g. on-time deliveries and production yield);
- Govern the hardware test strategy, obtaining and maintaining knowledge of relevant norms and standards;
- Guide and support customers, projects and electronics suppliers with expertise in the field of hardware testing;
Qualifications
YOUR EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
- We welcome candidates with at least 3 years of previous experience in the field of industrial control electronics, electronics manufacturing and/or production tests;
- Basic knowledge in electronics manufacturing best practices and design for cost, robustness, manufacturing, testing, environment, maintenance;
- Relevant previous experience with development life cycle processes, test methods, systems and tools in the field of HW testing;
- Project experience in Product Development Management and in Configuration Management Tools;
- Knowledge in hardware safety design and reliability engineering (e.g. THR, FTA, FMEA);
- Knowledge in hardware test principles and with commonly used test development environments (e.g. NI LabVIEW, NI TestStand, Boundary Scan);
- Knowledge of railway standards or industry practices , will be highly desirable;
- Language skills: English (fluent) – mandatory; Swedish – highly desirable;
- BSc and/or MSc in Electronics, Computer Science and/or Automation.
