Tasks:
- To plan and lead installation and functional tests according to approved procedures, making the appropriate record on the test sheets and reporting the results to system validation and the punch list roll-out.
- Key participation on Design Review, presenting gap analysis on the requirements, prompting warnings and field constraints on the proposed solutions.
- Consistent and regular report of the project progress through agreed templates with the key stakeholders.
- Leadership of technical teams (BT and contractors) to achieve committed project milestones concerning to schedule and quality. Even under high pressure this professional should be able to respect people and pro-actively work to raise the team to overcome the difficulties (team builder).
- Be a focal point to customer and contractors communication at the project team.
- To support Project Manager and Contract Manager to identify and to budget Varation Orders and Claims
Qualifications
As our ideal candidate you:
- Hold a bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering (ownership of CREA is mandatory)
- Have 10 years of experience on signaling projects
- Are familiar with Project Management tools (PMI)
- Have strong knowledge of installation, tests and commissioning on railway systems (such as control and automation, digital transmission systems, data protocols, radio links, etc). Experience in turn-key project is a must.
- Are fluent in English and Portuguese.
