Tasks: 

· Assist in the development of strategic sourcing strategies that ensures best value and implement it regionally
· Roll-out and deploy both global & local sourcing strategy for specific project needs

- Deploy and manage strategic sourcing strategies and supplier agreements that maximize the business benefits within the commodities
· Undertake and support supplier negotiations and relationship-building to obtain best value for the project.
· Undertake category management and other procurement activities by applying best-practice processes, tools, and techniques, in accordance with procurement governance, processes, standards, and procedures
· Assist with the development and management of supplier portfolios and establishment of structured supplier relationships
· Participate actively in regional strategic bids, especially in the area of supplier evaluation, selection and costing of BoMs
· Manage the total material requirements of the TAC ( Total at Completion) in the project Team, including RFQ/RFP analysis, purchase order placement and order management
· Monitor supplier market profiles to identify opportunities within the marketplace
· Establish and maintain preferred supplier lists, corporate contracts, and framework agreements
· Provide reports and manage information/data as required for procurement and/or Corporate purposes
· Manage total cost of ownership for regional Suppliers
· Participate in Supplier Risk Management
· Coordinate Joint Design Development Phase with the Supplier
· Coordinate validation activities and First Article Inspections with Supplier (quality reviews, type tests, any other tests)
· Coordinate and support all logistics activities related to import, expediting, transportation and warehouse according to project needs
· Develop self competence needed to perform the job through assessments and individual development plans

Qualifications
· Education: Technical or Economics Degree
· Min. 3 years of experience in Procurement/Supply Chain
· Strong knowledge of core supply chain processes
· Knowledge of quality standards and audit processes (IRIS)
· Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel
· Knowledge of SAP is highly desirable
· Advanced Italian and English language skills
· Spanish language skills are a plus
· Availability for business travels
· Very good communication skills
· Proven negotiation skills
