ROLE
The candidate is responsible for designing, analyzing, developing and testing engineering solutions that solve the requirements relating to the vehicle control software.
In particular the candidate has to support the SW Engineering Head starting from pre-bid phase by:
- evaluating the best software technical solution
- interfacing with external suppliers
During project execution the candidate, as a team contributor, has to manage technical matters related to the design, development and test of software application for railway vehicle control systems, in the field of vehicle control application. Hereafter are listed the related main activities:
- software requirement documentation
- software architecture definition
- application software development
- software testing and validation
- software integration into the existing infrastructures
- support to the final customer

Qualifications
- Degree in Electronic or Software Engineering
- Min. 2 years of overall experience in a similar role
- Background in railway industry is highly preferred, alternatively aerospace or automation can be also considered
- Proven experience in software design for IEC61131 and C# software programming
- Experience in software design for vehicle control management system
- Knowledge of TCMS is an advantage
- Very good Italian and English language skills, both written and spoken
- Availability to travel
