Main responsibilities:
• Gathering technical information for customer quotations, requests and orders
• Identifying required Spare Parts on the basis of Documentation (Drawings, Pictures, manuals, layouts, 3D drawings etc) and ERP Systems
• Obtain technical information/documentation from customer and/or Supplier or with the support of Spares Operation coordinator to ensure Spare parts supply to customers
• Ensure conformity of required and quoted Spare parts
• Ensure customer’s Quality and Warranty requirements
• Obtain technical information from lead divisions and/or suppliers and add new Spare Parts into PDM and SAP
• Support engineering of alternative solutions in case of obsolescence
• Support transactional buyer and spare parts coordinator in preparing RFQ’s and customer quotations
• Communication with supplier for technical clearance
• Identifying suppliers for RFQ’s for unknown spare parts, Bids & Projects
• Archiving of all necessary documentation in PDM, SAP and local archive
Qualifications
• Higher technical education
• 3 years of similar working experience, preferably in the rail industry
• Experience in service maintenance, repair and production of rolling stock and / or components
• Experience with mechanical and electrical components
• Knowledge of MS Office aaplications
• Excellent communication skills
• Fluent English and German. French is an asset
• Customer orientation and teamwork
