Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:.
• Perform purification, bioconjugation, Biacore and/or relevant binding assays for antibody and protein.
• Identify collaborators and contract research organizations (CROs) for biologics discovery and production.
• Develop, optimize and conduct functional assays including ELISA and FACS.
• Keep updated with current biologics purifcation, bioconjugation and binding assay technologies.
• Present data and updates to the project teams.
• Provide guidance/supervision to laboratory personnel.
• Create, implement, and prioritize innovative ideas.

Qualifications
Skills/Knowledge Preferred:
• Ph.D. in Biochemistry, Cell Biology, Molecular Genetics or related fields (Immunology) with 6 years pharmaceutical industry experience in biologics discovery and development
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Expertise in antibody and protein purification, bioconjugation and binding assays. A track record in demonstrating creativity by peer-reviewed publications or patents.
Skills/Knowledge in one or more of the following areas are a plus:
• Molecular biology
• Mammalian protein and antibody expression, expression vector genetics and engineering and vector construction and screening
• Antibody structures, functions, constructs and databases
• HT cloning and expression
• Antibody/protein engineering and experimental design
• Protein characterization and analysis including Biacore and Octet
• Display technologies, in particular, yeast display
• Other expression systems including bacteria and yeast
