Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
• Provides commercial forecast modeling and business analytics support to multiple Global Disease Teams (GDT’s) within the Myeloid team (MDS, AML, and Beta Thal)
• Leads financial opportunity analyses of both in-line and pipeline assets
o Builds and runs patient based forecast models
o Validates various sources of epidemiological data and key patient segments
o Generates supporting rationale for forecast assumptions-- based on deep understanding of existing/future myeloid market dynamics and product profiles
o Supports portfolio decision making. Creates business cases by quantifying the future financial value of clinical trials.
o Acts as liaison with cross-functional partners and regional counterparts to ensure alignment of forecast parameters/assumptions
• Advises and supports regional forecasting partners in the development of regional 5-yr Strategic Forecasts:
o Provides financial modeling expertise, epidemiology guidance, and strategic perspective
o Ensures alignment between regions
o Consolidates regional forecasts and assumptions into an integrated Global 5-yr forecast
• Leads development of the 10-year Global forecast for Myeloid across multiple disease teams and regional partners
Qualifications
Skills/Knowledge and Experience Required:
• BS/BA required; MBA or advanced degree preferred
• At least 5 years pharmaceutical/biotechnology/consulting industry experience
• Ability to collaborate with colleagues in various geographies, roles, hierarchic levels etc
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple, cross-functional projects simultaneously
• Must be a team player with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate across multiple functions and levels
• Travel as required (limited)
