Medical Science Liaison Field Trainer, Hem/Onc, Central US Job

Responsibilities will include:
- Responsible for new hire training, on-boarding and ongoing field-based training for MSLs
- Collaborates with MSL managers to conduct new hire skills assessment, individual mentoring and field-based orientation programs for MSLs
- Responsible for evaluating effectiveness of orientation and on-boarding program and ensure updated materials are available (disease state and Celgene data)
- In collaboration with the MSL management team, identifies learning opportunities and develops programs to support the ongoing development and training of MSLs
- Partners with Learning and Development and Scientific Communications to ensure MSL training plans and materials leverage existing resources and enhance field-based skills
- Creates or adapt materials and tools that support MSLs in the effective delivery of Celgene product information and data to healthcare professionals
- Evaluates training materials and programs, recommends ongoing training needs and modifies programs based on input and approval from members of the Leadership Teams
- Develops and conducts training of new processes or technology implementation for the MSL function
- Research and work with the MSL management team to select outside consultants and trainers to conduct training on specific topics as needed.

Qualifications
- Must live near a major airport (due to frequent travel) within the territory (Eastern/Central US).
- Overnight business travel as high as 50% required.
- BS degree in scientific and/or medical discipline required; MD, DO, PharmD, MSN or PhD strongly preferred
- 5+ years clinical oncology/hematology experience
- 3+ years pharmaceutical / biotech experience as a field MSL or similar field-based position with a proven track record of success
- Experience in public presentation
- Exceptional organizational and planning skills
- Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills and the ability to build and maintain internal and external partnerships.
