Marketing Manager

This position reports to the Director of Strategic Marketing and Communications and is located at company headquarters in New York City. This is an exempt position with competitive salary and benefits.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, execute and maintain marketing strategies, plans and campaigns for new and existing programs and objectives that engage target audiences and enhance company's local, national and international visibility
  • Manage all marketing, advertising and promotional activities for our clinical, public information/outreach and research mission areas, including digital, social and email, and occasional outdoor and print campaigns
  • Collaborate within department and across organization to meet goals, empower others and foster a united, upbeat team
  • Oversee web, digital marketing and social media staff
  • Integrate marketing campaigns with PR and Editorial teams to leverage existing assets and reach audiences across paid, earned, shared and owned media.
  • Monitor, review and report on all marketing activities and results
  • Conduct market research, as needed, to determine market requirements for existing and future initiatives and company positioning
  • Edit copy for website and for campaigns; prepare briefs for reports and public events

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, public relations or related field; advanced degree a plus
  • A minimum of 8-10 years of progressive marketing experience in a management/supervisory role
  • Prior not-for-profit marketing experience
  • Agency experience preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully manage multichannel marketing campaigns
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Exceptional project management skills required. Ability to work in a fast paced environment managing multiple projects and priorities and meet deadlines
  • Must posses sound judgment, decision-making and team-building skills
  • Flexible attitude; keen on recognizing and seizing unplanned opportunities
  • Able to maintain calm under pressure; resilient
  • Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective internal and external working relationships and partnerships with a variety of people
  • Proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint
