The major responsibilities of this role:
1. Manages key events for CEO – including VIP visits and meetings – to ensure that these events showcase the UK & Ireland in a positive manner to their respective audiences
2. Gathers, investigates, researches, analyses, and/or studies information affecting company-wide performance and makes recommendations. Prepare and present analytical studies / business case discussions as necessary
3. Coordinates special projects impacting areas of the local or global Bayer organization on behalf of the CEO, frequently involving senior employees
4. Handles matters of strategic, policy or organizational importance on behalf of the CEO
5. Reviews, researches, and recommends new or revised policies and strategies, as appropriate to the area of interest, and prepares reports and other communications on behalf of the CEO
6. Assists the Executive Assistant where appropriate on presentations, research and reports for the CEO
7. Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
8. Responds to routine inquiries as delegated by the CEO
Your qualifications Education/Skills/experiences
• Educated to degree or post graduate standard with an experience and understanding of the
Life Science industry preferred
• In depth knowledge of Business Organisation and Processes
• Experience of leading or involvement in global change projects.
• Excellent personal organisational skills
• Ability to communicate with key stakeholders at various management/ business levels
• Team Player, with ability to lead and influence
• Broad understanding of the total business mix – marketing, sales, support, HR, procurement, financial management, legal compliance and regulatory requirements.
• Highly analytical, numerate with excellent attention to detail and the ability to work in a high pressure hands-on environment.
• Strong track record of achievement and delivering key Business outcomes.
• Sound judgment, effective decision making and ability to ensure task execution and
completion
• Excellent verbal, written, presentation, communication, and negotiation skills
