YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Develop new and advanced application to ensure polycarbonate

business’s sustainability growth in long term.

- To scout and work on customer advanced application and development

projects, technology and application feasibility study for account

customers in Asia Pacific.

- Investigation and evaluation of technological trends and upcoming new

technologies and develop solutions for our customers by leading

projects and realization of new business through innovative

processing/application development by transfer of market requirement to

innovation and technology community.

- Closely monitor and evaluate competitor moves in technological areas,

business development areas, and develop technical unique selling

propositions.

- Lead the detailed design and engineering project activities for major

industry areas (such as transportation, auto interiors,

electrical/electronics, renewable energy, etc.), in support of

Marketing & Sales.

- Represent BMS as “engineering expert” with technical experts from our

customers, to provide suitable solutions to customer application design

issues; recognizing/implementing patentable innovations for BMS.

- Act as focal point for complex engineering and other technical issues

related to key industry segments involving major customers.

- Act as technical spokesperson for PCS/BMS in specific technical

topics, requiring high level understanding of “state-of-the-art”

technology, in order to positively position BMS products/services in

the marketplace.

Requirements:

-Verbal and written communication skills with demonstrated presentation

skills (to customers and national conferences).

-English proficiency, Mandarin is a plus competence.

-Depth knowledge of the processing technologies, technical knowledge of

materials, processing, joining methods, part design and mold design in

order to advise internal and external customers in support of BMS sales

and/or technical advancement.

-Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex technical problems and to

arrive at solutions that support the technical and business goals.

--Able to efficiently manage projects using Design Of Experiments

(DOEs) and project management.

-Possess communication and leadership skills to participate in teams,

lead teams, write reports, and make effective presentations (e.g.

customers and technical conferences).
