DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Unloads inbound freight and ensures piece count matches shipping papers. 
• Records apparent overages, shortages and damages to freight. 
• Distributes freight to proper load out bay. 
• Loads outbound freight. 
• Ensures proper piece count and destination. Routes bills in sequence of delivery. 
• Places trailers properly at dock. 
• Hooks up pups. Sweeps trailers, pulls nails, drops pins, checks tires, and pulls chain. 
• May perform other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements 

• Must be able to read, write and speak English. 
• Must have a CFL forklift certification and know hazardous material loading requirements and restrictions. 
• Must be able to lift a maximum of 150 pounds and handle 55 gallon loaded drums with barrel wheeler.
