ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assists Department Heads with applicant interview scheduling and recruitment
  • Facilitates and updates the flow of applicants from the Global HRIS system and distributes to department heads
  • Provides candidates with Pre-Adverse and Adverse Action Letters as needed (FCRA)
  • Submits New Hire paperwork to Corporate HR
  • Completes pre-employment and new hire process checklists to include Federal Fingerprinting, E-Verify, OIG/EPL (per state requirements) for all new hires
  • Prepares and submits Background Request Forms and documents to Corporate. (Corporate HR handles new hire background checks, E-verify & OIG/EPL for TX, GA, MO, OK, CO)
  • Verifies professional licensures/certifications for all licensed new hires and misconduct registries annually for all licensed staff including other annual requirements per state
  • Ensures that a minimum of two reference checks are completed by Department Heads on every new hire
  • Creates and maintains all current and termed employee personnel files to ensure compliance for auditing
  • Collects and files Employee Performance evaluations
  • Assists Administrator with local print ads for recruitment
  • Provides information to ADP for unemployment services as needed
  • Enrolls and instructs employees in use of the time clock
  • Serves as first point of contact with staff regarding benefit administration, payroll, I-Pay and other employee relations concerns.
  • Submits to Corporate Payroll daily: missed punch detail; PTO & LOA requests; PAF administration
  • Assists Department Heads with FMLA Administration
  • Coordinates the handling of all Claims Requests (Employment Practices & Unemployment) and gathers paperwork
  • Maintains and submits the Open Position Report to Corporate HR weekly
  • Maintains and updates TELS OSHA employee workplace injury and illness records including OSHA 300 Log & 300A
  • Posts OSHA 300A log annually on February 1st
  • Manages the Worker’s Compensation claim administration
  • Ensures that required Federal/State employment posters are up to date and posted
