Here are a few things you may expect to do over the course of a typical week

• White-board an MVP of a new feature, code it, test it, and ship it to production
• Talk with our backend engineers to decide how an API method should work
• Gather qualitative and quantitative feedback on a feature of the SDK and suggest improvements
• Help our skilled Community Management team triage user-reported bugs
• Prepare a draft of a new feature announcement blog post 
• Work on internal tools to make testing, deployment, and reporting easier

Skills & Requirements

• Excellent problem-solving and coding skills
• 3+ years mobile application development experience using Java and Android SDK (or equivalent proficiency) and a proven track record of shipping stuff
• Experience developing clean, maintainable, well-tested, and amazingly well documented APIs
• Outstanding attention to detail and ability to make apps work intuitively
• Understanding and strong conviction for doing things the Agile way
• Ability to adapt quickly and learn new skills; entrepreneurial mindset and a can-do attitude

Ideally

• Prior experience with Bluetooth Smart technology
• Prior experience with Statistics, Machine Learning and developing data products
