Essential Job Functions: 

Dispatcher 

• Daily monitoring of fleet drivers for route performance and adherence to planned route 
• Updates routing system based on overnight delivery request changes 
• Works with drivers to help solve routing concerns based on real-time feedback 
• Roadnet system maintenance based on route review as required 
• Communicate daily with branch managers on driver performance issues 
• Reporting as needed / directed

Router 

• Ensure the most cost effective routed solution while meeting the delivery parameters of the customer as well as the specific needs of the branch 
• Ensure routing solution complies with DOT hour and weight regulations 
• Performs post route & driver performance analysis of service time and cost, adherence to stop sequences, travel time, driver cost, equipment cost, etc-.What worked/didn't work 
• Work with the branches to ensure customer delivery parameters are accurate in Roadnet, 
• Maintains & update information on daily basis - geocoding, standard route maintenance & updates, Continually review each route for overlap and opportunities 
• Works closely with branch management to improve routing efficiencies

Analyst 

• Create "What If" routing scenarios monthly for delivery expense savings opportunities 
• Analyze to determine & present opportunities for greater efficiency and serviceability, cost savings opportunities, delivery day recommendations, branch origins, and customer open / close times, etc.

Qualifications: 

• 2-3 years of routing software experience - Roadnet strongly preferred 
• Bachelor's Degree in Logistics/Operations preferred 
• Ability to manage time and plan independently 
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
• Proficient with the Microsoft suite of applications, especially Excel
