Diesel Mechanic Responsibilities:
- Bumper-to-bumper preventive maintenance service and/or repair to tractor and trailer
- Preventive maintenance inspection
- Electrical troubleshooting
- Brake system repair
- Tire maintenance
- Minor diesel engine repair
- Air conditioning system repair
- Tire & Wheel, Heavy Duty Brake System and A/C Certifications are a plus
- ASE Certifications are a plus
Diesel Mechanic Pay and Benefits:

Averitt Diesel Mechanic Requirements:
- Must be 18 years of age
- Valid driver's license
- Clean driving record
