The Role
- Greeting customers and determined their needs and wants
- Discuss type, quality and number of merchandise required for purchase
- Recommending merchandise based on individual requirements
- Advise customers on utilization and care of merchandise
- Giving advice to clients regarding particular products or services
- Explain the use and advantage of merchandise to customers
- Answer customers queries and concerns
- Maintain sales records for inventory control
- Meeting and making a connection with customers, asking questions and listening to shoppers' needs, then giving options and advice on meeting those needs
- Handle all returns courteously and professionally
- Responsible for achieving personal sales goals
- Be aware of current promotional events and sales
- Distribute product samples, brochures, flyers etc. to source new sales opportunities
- Set up booths or promotional stands and stock products
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- High School degree or Bachelors Degree in any related field
- Very Good in English communication both spoken & written
- Ability to understand customer needs and handle different types of personalities
- Strong listening, communication, presentation and social skills
- Minimum 1-3 years working experience in retail is a must
