Immediate opportunity in our Buffalo office to join our busy IT team. This position, for an experienced, non-manager professional, will join in serving the hardware, software and connectivity needs of over 320 local, remote and mobile users in multiple offices.
Job Duties:
· Perform/guide customers through the installation of hardware/software and networking components on their personal computer to meet enduser needs
· Diagnose/troubleshoot problems with individual or multiple computer systems in order to maintain proper functioning; resolve complex issues through contacting and assisting vendors
· Research computer or network problems; transfer solutions to knowledge base
· Respond to internal user requests for technical assistance in person, via phone, or electronically
· Coordinating deployment of new hardware and software upgrades or installs
· Maintain and update hardware and software inventory
· Identify and escalate situations requiring urgent attention, route requests to appropriate IT members as required.

Preferred Experience:
· Knowledge of PC concepts, principles, maintenance and operations
· Software, hardware and networking troubleshooting experience
· Understanding of information systems with the ability to apply knowledge, as well as recognize, research and resolve basic IT related problems/challenges
· One to three years of experience installing, upgrading and troubleshooting hardware and software.
· One to three years of experience troubleshooting computer network technology, servers and services.
· 1 – 2 years previous experience serving in an IT support role a plus.
· Exposure to MicroSoft Sharepoint a plus
