Reporting to the Director of Laundry & Linen Services, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

• Consistently offers professional, engaging and friendly service
• Collecting and delivering product to and from various locations
• Loading and unloading product
• Developing and maintaining an efficient routing system
• Ensuring relevant documentation is accurate prior to loading or delivery; reporting any errors and/or discrepancies promptly
• Developing and maintaining an organized, efficient loading and unloading system
• Verify all items listed on documentation are loaded and delivered
• Report any complaints promptly to manager
• Adhering to safe storage and handling procedures
• Driving vehicle responsibly with extreme caution and within speed limits; includes maintaining valid licence
• Reporting any needed repairs or special maintenance promptly
• Adhering to all related policies and procedures i.e. Health & Safety, emergency etc.
• Consistently offers professional, engaging and friendly service
• Participate in meets as required
• Other related duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Previous experience is an asset
• Clean Driving record required
• Heavy Truck Lisence required

• Excellent interpersonal, communication (verbal and written), teamwork and organizational skills

• Ability to work cohesively within a multi cultural, diverse team

• Flexibility to work as needed

• Physical Aspects of Position (include but are not limited to):
• Constant standing and walking throughout shift

• Occasional kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting

• Occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs and ramps

Visa Requirements:  Only applicants who are Bermudian, a Spouse of Bermudian or hold a Permanent Resident's Certificate are eligible for this position.
