Job Responsibilities:
1.Maintains the highest standards when handling guest laundry/dry cleaning to ensure guest satisfaction.
2.Ensures that all equipment is always in proper working condition, by training colleagues how to use it correctly and ensuring regular maintenance checks by the Engineering department are carried out.
3.Ensures that the quality control for Rooms and F&B linen is maintained and that the linen is clean without damage and properly pressed.
4.Ensures the guests are charged the right amount and monitors all claims against the Laundry department working closely with hotel executives responsible for guest claim liability.
5.Maintaining high standards of data quality through system maintenance and audits.
6.Ensures that chemicals are stored in a safe manner and that the storeroom can only be opened by authorized staff.
7.To demonstrate the 12-Service Excellence Basics and ensure the whole of the Laundry department continually follows the same.
8.Keeps updated with new products in the market.
