Key Accountabilities:
Sales Process Management:
- Provides key input to Sales Manager and Chief Commercial Officer for budgets and sales plans
- Conducts inventory review with Chief Commercial officer to plan inventory releases in order to meet sales targets and ensure optimal results
- Approves and signs sales documents of launch and tempo sales
- Signing Authority on the Sales and purchase agreements on behalf of the vendor
- Facilitates inter-department on the sales and purchase agreements on behalf of the vendor
- Facilitates inter-department issues e.g. Golf Homes infrastructure, SLA to assist with short term rentals
- Approves staff commission claims
- Reviews and proposes changes with regards to external and internal commission structures
- Ensures compliance with sales policies and processes
- Raises necessary documentation to ensure any deviations on exceptions are appropriately recorded
- Liaise information and approvals from business heads to assist in formalizing a Sales and Purchase Agreement (SPA) for any new product
- Contracts Management of new sales
- Reviews policies and controls process
- Ensure no loopholes in the sales process
Events / Sales Launches:
- Formalize sales strategies by way of memos prior to launch and events
- Provides all operational support during events and launches
- Works with Sales Manager and Chief Commercial Officer during events and launches
- Assist at product launches and road shows organised by International Sales Team
Agent Management:
- Manages Emaar’s Agents Advantage Program.
- Approves new agency applications both local and international.
- Conduct periodic reviews of the Agents Programme and propose relevant changes.
- Evaluate Agents Performance.
- Organizes external agents’ events.
- Ensure the team conducts workshops for new agencies.
- Approves agents’ commission claims.
Business process management:
- Reviews and initiates revisions within the departments policies/processes/procedures in close cooperation with the Performance Management Department in line with BPM guidelines
- Drafts new policies and procedures (whenever required) with changing business practise in close cooperation with performance Management Department and in line with BPM and BCP guidelines
- Communicates the new and revised policies and procedures within the department
- Seeks business approvals on key processes, customer care issues, commission conflicts
- Rolls out new business process including automation representing new business initiative
- Handles and manages audit related enquiries pertaining to sales operations
Reports:
- Send Launch and Event related reports to senior management
Team Management:
- Provides performance feedback to team members.
- Identifies training needs for the team.
- Guides new team members on company’s policies and processes.
Job Context:
The Manager – Sales Operations & Compliance works closely internally with the entire sales team, Customer Care, Finance, BPM, Legal, IT and Internal Audit departments and externally the Manager – Sales Operations & Compliance works with External Agencies registered with Emaar.
Qualifications
Qualification:
- Minimum Graduate degree in relevant discipline/industry
Experience:
- Minimum 5 years experience in property development and real estate field.
Skills:
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
- Good English Language skills required.
