•Assist the Marketing team in developing and implementing effective PR strategy.
•Act as the liaison between the hotel and the appointed PR agency to generate awareness and write ups of the hotel, restaurants, bars, spa, recreation, sustainable initiatives, team…
•Continuously update press kits and write/proof read press releases and creative communication of news worthy items with the PR agency.
•Develop proactive media relations and networking to ensure direct strong relationships with key media.
•Build a database of key media contacts, opinion makers, socialites, bloggers and local “VIP’s”
•Distribution of press releases to targeted media.
•Monitoring of the media, including newspapers, magazines, journals, broadcasts, newswires, social media sites and blogs and ensure monthly clippings are received for the hotel via the PR agency
•Analyse and evaluate media coverage and prepare monthly reports.
•Conduct show around for the media.
•Organize reviews (Stay, F&B, Spa…) and host media in-house.
•Represent the hotel during major social functions and attend key social events/parties in town.
•Event management, including press conferences and promotional events.
•Maintain the hotel photo library for media.
•Follow online bloggers & socialites social media accounts.
•Track and maintain information about competitor’s PR activities in the Dubai market.
•Manage the PR aspect of a possible crisis situation.
