Currently looking for a Procurement & Logistics Manager to join our team in Dubai.
- Provide purchase requisitions and Procure materials or other goods and/or coordinates activities involved with purchasing products and services in a timely manner as required;
- Secure additional information on restaurants and departmental needs and may prepare recommendations on vending sources.
- Communicates with vendors to obtain product or service information, such as price, availability, and delivery schedule.
- As required, may personally approve requisitions and selects products for purchase by testing, observing, or examining items.
- Secure goods for stores inventory; process supplies requisitions received from restaurants and expedites orders and requests as needed.
- Estimates values according to knowledge of market price.
- Prepares purchase orders or bid requests.
- Reviews bid proposals and negotiates contracts within budgetary limitations and scope of authority.
- Accept deliveries and reviews orders received for accuracy and condition of merchandise;
- Maintain accurate computerized procurement records, such as items or services purchased, costs, delivery, product quality or performance, and inventories.
- Develop & routinely interprets the Restaurants Purchasing Policy;
- Seek and qualify new vendors to do business and identifies vendors for purchases.
- Requires frequent contacts with vendors and other designated purchasing staff;
- Able to coordinate shipping procedure, clearing of goods shipped from outside the UAE including all documentation procedures for such shipments.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration or Marketing or related field.
- At least two years of responsible buying experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Core Competencies:
- Requires accurate, timely and effective purchasing skills and the ability to review, verify and process requisitions and purchase orders.
- Excellent communication skills are very essential both Spoken & written
- Mathematical & Reasoning Skills
- Knowledge of materials, products, and the commodity market in area of specialization
- Skill in preparing and analyzing complex technical specifications and bids
- With Valid UAE driving License
