Our client, an international law firm, who has been recognised for their track record in successfully resolving complex domestic and cross-border construction dispute are seeking a construction lawyer to join their busy Dubai practice.

Their services include advising on construction insurance policies, performance bonds, guarantees and representations in connection with regulatory matters affecting the design, development and construction process. 

They act for clients active in the Middle East, which includes developers, government agencies, contractors, oil and gas multinationals, consulting firms and project lenders.

Requirements

The candidate should have the following qualification and skills:
• strong academic qualifications
• qualification as solicitor in the UK or other common law jurisdiction
• career to date focussed on construction (non-contentious);
• background in either a large international or national firm, or a smaller specialist construction firm
• stong technical and drafting skills
• ideally has Middle East experience
