we are looking for an IT Manager - Networking and Security

OPERATIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES: 

Main Systems, Network / Security and Infrastructure includes routers, switches (core, distribution and edge), firewalls (PIX / ASA and Watch guard) Intrusion detection and Prevention systems, wireless access points. Configurations include creating VPN connection for mobile client, Switch port configurations, Router and firewall configurations.

Monitors and maintains Network monitoring solutions, Cisco Works, Wireless LAN Solution Engines

To ensure availability of wired and wireless Main Systems, Network and Infrastructure connectivity to the guests and staffs at all times.

To ensure a high level of security for wireless connections.

Very detailed configuration to be established for information technology and information security (including firewalls, VPN’s, penetration testing and other security devices and services).

Experience in business continuity planning, auditing and risk management, as well as contract and vendor negotiation;

Working knowledge of local laws associated with information security.

Identifying protection goals and objectives consistent with the Hotel's strategic plan.

Managing the development, implementation and enforcement of information security policy, standards, guidelines and procedures

Monitor Compliance of Emirates Palace Infrastructure security with the defined Information Security Policies

To contribute to the security aspects of the design of new and existing systems.

To report any security related breaches or hacking attacks to senior management.

Monitors and follows the formal procedure for reporting information security incidents and investigations.

To conduct on regular basis security assessments

Monitoring user activity, investigating security breaches or security policy violations, assisting with associated disciplinary and legal matters.

Overseeing associates and vendors who provide physical and logical security to the Hotel’s information systems and infrastructure.

Provides Information Security awareness and training to other IT personnel.

Making sure all systems are up to date in terms of security patches

All external accessible systems are secured.

Internal data security is up to date

Investigate and report if any attacks against to company network or systems (internal or external)

Report each systems if any deficiency on IT Security measurements

Develop and keep updated all IT Security policies.

Any other duties, which may be assigned to you from time to time as directed by your Supervisor or Manager
