Outlet Manager - Seafood Restaurant is urgently needed

Main Duties:

  1. To develop and maintain an elegantly appointed environment, with superior colleagues, dedicated to an attentive, distinctive experience for all dining periods.
  2. To hire, train, supervise and discipline all the outlet colleagues.
  3. To observe daily conditions of all physical facilities and equipment in the outlet; make recommendations for corrections and improvements as needed.
  4. To forecast covers and revenues and then schedules colleagues accordingly
  5. To communicate with the Chef and Food and Beverage Director / Manager to discuss menus, marketing strategies and guest comments and concerns.
  6. To understand all food and beverage items offered, including ingredients, methods of preparation and proper service.
  7. To promote good public relations and handle complaints or concerns of guests.
  8. To handle all inventories directly involved with the operation of the outlet.
  9. To lay out target and develop strategies to accomplish outlet goals.
  10. To keep colleagues informed about hotel policies and changes.
  11. To manage and control overall expenses of the outlets focusing on higher revenue and profit.
  12. To work in co-operation with the Chef De Cuisine to ensure top quality and fair prices and to see that below standard items are never accepted or served.
  13. To plan and execute special events / promotions for the outlet 
  14. Ensures targets set by the company are met (i.e JD Power, LQA, HACCP, COS, Revenue)
  15. Monitor and analyse the products of competitive restaurants, to maintain a competitive advantage
  16. Perform any other duties that management may reasonably require.

About You

Qualifications:

  • At least college level or equivalent

Experience:

  • At least 2 years work experience as Outlet Manager in a Fine Dining Restuarant
  • Preferably worked in a 5 star luxury hotel
  • Experience working in Kuwait or Middle East  

Skills:

  • Excellent Management skills
  • Proactive, Creative and Attention to details
  • Excellent Public Relations and Communication Skills
  • Competent in English and knowledge of Arabic Language will be an advantage
  • Competent in using Micros, Microsoft Office and Windows-based computer applications.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and multi-cultural environment.
