Bilingual Receptionist

The Role

Salary 8 - 9,000 AED (inclusive of annual air ticket)

Leading law firm based in Dubai is seeking a Bilingual Receptionist (fluent Arabic/English) to make that all important first impression. 

Responsibilities
- Act as an ambassador of the firm and provide exemplary service to all internal and external clients. 
- Manage the switchboard, answer the phone in a professional manner and transfer calls appropriately. 
- Take accurate and detailed messages and deliver them promptly to the relevant persons via e-mail. 
- Record voicemail messages for the reception telephones and activate, deactivate or update the voicemail greetings as appropriate. 
- Coordinate conference room bookings and enter them into the public calendar. 
- Greet clients, accompany them to the conference rooms, make them feel welcome by offering refreshments, and notify the relevant employees that their guests have arrived. 
- Assist visitors with any needs, including calling taxis for them, directing them to the rest rooms, and arranging copying/faxing for the when required. 
- Ensure that any visitors remaining in the office after hours are accommodated for. 
- Book catering for certain meetings.
- Type or edit documents when required.
- Other ad hoc administrative duties as required.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree or relevant Secretarial qualification. 
- Receptionist with at least two years Reception or secretarial experience, preferable within a professional services firm. 
- Excellent interpersonal skills professional, approachable and service oriented. 
- Must be an excellent communicator with fluent written and spoken English/Arabic language skills. 
- Attention to detail. 
- Able to work autonomously. 
- Excellent punctually and attendance, and a willingness to come in early or stay back late when required.
- Must have an excellent work ethic and the initiative to offer assistance to the Legal Assistants during off-peak periods at Reception.
- Must be proficient in MS Word and Outlook.
