Key Responsibilities
• Assist Sales Department in providing profitable and efficient proposals.
• Works closely with all departments to ensure smooth execution of the events.
• Inspect and monitor banquet rooms and presentations. Report any maintenance required.
• Conduct pre event meeting internally and with external customer to ensure that all requirements are clearly communicated and understood for seamless execution of the event.
•Ensure guest’s feedback received is communicated to all departments.
• Review periodically departmental KPI’s & KPO’s with individuals and team, ensure performance is measured and tracked appropriately. Develop strategies to meet goals established.
• Direct, manage, train and counsel staff.
• Conduct team meetings and briefings.
• Maintain all correspondence to ensure it meets with Hotel policy and procedures.
• Ensure Occupational Health & Safety guidelines are adhered to.
• Comply with all Corporate and Hotel Standards and Procedures.
• Review daily banquet and conference charges/revenue for accuracy.
• Prepare and compile data for strategic plan, monthly reports, annual goals, forecasts and other reports as directed by the food & beverage Management.
• Develop banquet menus pricing and anticipated revenues using competitive set data.
• Work closely with Food & Beverage Manger to ensure all aspects of the event have been cost effective and serviced both clients and hotel needs.
• Perform other duties as requested by Hotel Management.
Ideal candidate should have a minimum three years’ experience in same job capacity and with solid background in the Food & beverage department at high-end hotel environment. Pre-opening experience is a plus.
