QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

• Two years or more experience working with elementary aged children in a classroom, camp, or hotel environment.
• Excellent planning and organizational skills
• Knowledge of Montessori educational approaches is preferred but not required.
• Ability to interact with children and parents in a professional, warm, empathetic, and clear manner.
• Enthusiastic personality and willingness to adapt to unforeseen circumstances.
• Up to date CPR/AED and First-Aid Certification preferred.

An ideal candidate would have experience working with children in a playful, yet purposeful environment with organized activities and games such as the environment of a summer camp or after school club. This candidate would be able to create a structured, clear environment. This will take planning, organizing activities, and taking general care of the safety and well-being of the kids.
