General Description

To supervise the guests use of the Swimming pool to ensure their safety and assist any guest in case of emergency. Swimming pool supervision only

Duties & Responsibilities

1. Ensure that all guests are following the Swimming pool rules, especially with regards to safety. 
2. Do not leave the Pool unattended with the presence of guest using the pool.
3. Ensure to vacuum the pool before opening. 
4. Assist any person experiencing difficulties using lifesaving techniques and First Aid/CPR where necessary.
5. Check first Aid Box all items are in good condition, complete not expired. 
6. Ensure that lifesaving equipment is well maintained and in the correct position at all times. 
7. Ensure that all Swimming pool equipment are in clean condition
8. Report all safety issues and incidents to the management. 
9. When no lifeguard on duty, assist with all Pool Attendant duties, or other duties as required by the management from time to time.
10. Ensure keep the record of swimming pool chemical test report every day.
11. Report to the Supervisor any damaged or broken equipment’s. 
12. Carry out other duties as required by the Management from time-to-time. 
13. To be aware and implement all relevant aspects of Health and safety legislation and company procedures. 
14. Ensure all door are locked after pool operation.
Attends training courses, internal & external which management deems as essential.

Requirements

Certification as a lifeguard 
Certified First Aider and AED User 
Good English communication skill both written and spoken 
Positive attitute
Experience in hospitality industry preferably in a 4 star Hotel
