Job Description
In conjunction with the Director of Sales, this position is responsible for maximising rooms / F&B / Conference and Banqueting business from a defined account base. Proactively uncovering new prospects for the Hotel, and maximising conversion of business in line with Hotels’ budgetary goals.
This position requires a high degree of self-motivation and the ability to work unsupervised using own initiative. This position is responsible for day to day operation of the Hotel’s sales department, under the direction of the Director of Sales, and will deputise for the DOS in his/her absence. Representing Starwood Hotels worldwide promoting the quality image of the company at every opportunity, and uncovering additional leads for the property
Requirements
Experience in 5 star luxury hotel
Minimum 2 years work experience in the same position
Bachelor degree required additional education in sales and marketing fields preferred.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in Interactive Account Management or Marketing/Strategic Planning is required.
Superior analytical skills required.
Experience managing websites and online advertising required.
Solid understanding of development for dynamic websites and/or Content Management Systems.
Travel Industry experience a plus.
Experience in off-line marketing a plus.
