Position of Assistant Club Lounge Manager in Arabian resort in Dubai is open

The main role will be to ensure a smooth and efficient operation at the front desk and providing all guest service and ensuring that their expectation are constantly met.

Your key duties will include:

  • Being a part of the daily operation of Club Lounge to ensure high standard of customer service and food and beverage service at all times.
  • Assisting the Manager in supervising the Club Lounge.
  • Acting as the Rooms Manager on Duty as per the shift plan.
  • Helping Guest Services Executives with the lounges' duties if the operation demands Meet and Greet Club Lounge guests upon arrivals and to complete their registration procedures in the Lounge and to attend all their needs throughout their stay at the hotel. Ensure effective room allocations in advance.
  • Ensuring smooth check-in of all arriving guests.
  • Ensuring that all arriving guests are escorted to their respective rooms.
  • Handling any guests' complaints according to Jumeirah complaint handling standards and take necessary measures to prevent guest dissatisfaction.
  • Assisting Guest Services Executive with departures; coordinate with Housekeeping, Reception, and Concierge.
  • Hosting and supervising the daily F&B operations of breakfast, afternoon tea and happy hour. Ensure check-lists are carried out as required.
  • Managing colleague performance as per company guidelines. Continually Promote teamwork and motivate the team. Ensure close communication with the manager about feedback on operations.
  • Maintaining open line of communication and co-ordination with related departments to ensure guests requests and complaints are handled efficiently and to the satisfaction of the guest. Ensure all guest feedback is actively processed and where necessary, communicated to the team and other departments.
  • Identifying and anticipating guests' needs and requirements and to be a continual source of information, help and assistance.
  • Adhering to health and safety policies, in particular the Jumeirah Food Hygiene standards. Attend and conduct briefings and meetings.

About You

In order to be considered for this role, you will have gained a hospitality/tourism related education from a recognised hotel or business school, at least one year experience in a supervisory role preferably in a 5 star hotel and working with a culturally diverse workforce.

You will have good administration, communication, time management and organisational skills, as well as the capability to multitask and strong attention to detail. Your interpersonal and customer service ability will be excellent. Fluent in English both in written and spoken. Proficiency in computer software systems such as MS Office, knowledge of Opera system is desirable.
