Digital Design Officer - Qatar Airways - Doha

About Your Job:
- To develop and create advertising content for digital media, and also for other kinds of brand and marketing communications content for example: ENLs, microsites and QR.com website.
- Make creative contributions that enhance the quality of the advertising and marketing communications materials and present innovations in the digital landscape.
- Be a leader in the enforcement of QR creative guidelines and maintain the integrity of the brand by ensuring that it follows the company's communication strategy and objectives.
ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Operational:
- Contribute to the creation of communication content for advertising and marketing communication which includes developing online advertisements and digital marketing literature, Quality assurance of content produced which includes checking for compliance to prescribed brand communications guidelines, Develop creative concepts working with the other in-house creative team of designers in the Creative
- Services business unit within the Marketing department.
- Assist with the research, analysis and interpretation of data from various online sources to develop original, engaging and compelling brand communication materials. Other duties responsibilities as requested by Management, Assist with the output preparation and deployment of digital advertising banners with third party hosing and direct hosting websites.
Management & Leadership:
Maintain professional behaviour at all times, Effective communication with internal stakeholders, providing marketing and design services to support business development, Assist in the delivery of digital marketing projects and help manage the quality of all materials dispatched, Work effectively and cohesively with other members of the internal design team to ensure creative consistency and quality.
Development:
Take responsibility for own ongoing personal development and growth expertise, Assist in the response to any emergency or a major operational disruption affecting Qatar Airways or its subsidiaries, including support of the Qatar Airways Special Assistance Program, Communicate well with other key departments and stakeholders, Must have a ‘can-do' attitude and be willing to work hard to solve problems and meet deadlinesTo be successful in this role you will need to have a Bachelor Degree or equivalent in Graphic and Digital Design / Art / Photography.
You will need to be creative, innovative and be able to work successfully against tight deadlines.
Requirements
You must have 4 years of job-related experience; a proven track-record of producing online content for premium international brands is desirable, working with Airline, Travel industry, Hospitality or lifestyle brands in also an added Advantage.
Job Specific Skills:
Essential:
Proficient in using Mac Platform - OS X, proficient with HTML, Flash, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Acrobat Professional, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, MS Outlook/Entourage. Ability to work under tight deadlines, Ability to follow direction and work in a team environment, Strong attention to detail, Sound knowledge of digital formats and third party serving technologies, Proven track-record and ability to create original content with the objective to inform and entertain via written, oral, and visual media.
Desirable: Knowledge of design applications, flash build and action scripting, audio and video production or website design and development.
