The Role

- Reporting to CEO and GM of Instyle group.
- Manages and directs all departments of the retail and distribution businesses.
- Oversees efficient receipts and delivery of products and services to clients.
- Develops and implements operational policies and procedures.
- Provides leadership, coaching, and process improvement initiatives that are necessary to improve the operational efficiency of all company business.
- Implements structure to ensure a high delivery of service standards by automating, centralizing, eliminating, and streamlining processes and procedures.
- Works closely with Business Development Manager, Store managers, Finance, Logistics and Marketing teams to develop a control retail strategy for revenue management and profit maximization.
- Guide Store Managers/Supervisors with analysis through retail procedures to ensure effective operation and communication to ensure the smooth running of the business.
- Conduct effective communication sessions with the respective teams in regard to sales targets and performance, through the use of appraisals and KPI setting.
- Ensure store and departmental managers monitor store systems to maximize operational efficiency.
- Provide guidance and support, to all store projects, during set-up and merchandising phase.
- Ensure effective store layouts with regard to sales versus space contributions. 
- Ensure regular in-store visits and communication and training sessions.
- Responsible for current sales maximization and future business development.
- Work with all teams to produce weekly and monthly, financial and operational performance reports.

Requirements

- University degree.
- At least 5 year experience in the retail operations.
- Working knowledge of process design, ERP systems and retail practices.
- Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
- Active interest in sports/fashion industries is desirable, however not essential.
- Familiar with a variety of the retail concepts, practices, and procedures.
