Junior Web Content Manager - Russian Speaker - Germany

Your tasks:

  • Oversee a team taking care of the web content displayed on our trivago sites in CEE markets.
  • Conduct training, act as a mentor and motivate your team to love their work as much as you do!
  • Work closely with our Marketing, Search Engine Optimization, Hotel Relations teams and Country Developers from Bulgarian, Czech, Hungarian, Polish, Romanian, Russian and Slovakian speaking platforms to manage projects that drive trivago’s performance in CEE.
  • Research content gaps on hotel information and think of creative ways of involving trivago’s online community to fill these gaps.
  • Coordinate all translations on CEE platforms by delegating translation tasks to the relevant team members, ensuring they are completed in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Conduct market research and ensure all points of interests in your local market can easily be found for trivago users.
  • Contact local providers for hotel reviews to negotiate cooperations.

Your profile:

  • You speak Russian at native level and can communicate confidently in English (company language).
  • You have a valid working visa for Germany.
  • You have lived in Russia for several years and have excellent knowledge of its online market. Knowledge of other Eastern European markets would be beneficial.
  • Your confidence and assertiveness makes you a natural leader. Professional experience in a team lead position would be a plus.
  • You have experience in website management, blogging, market research and/or community management. Please use this opportunity to link us your blog/website (personal or professional) in your cover letter.
  • You’re comfortable using Excel. If you understand HTML, great. If you’ve used a Content Management System (Wordpress, Joomler etc) – even better!
  • You have an analytical mind and can be trusted to keep attention to detail.
