PURPOSE OF THE JOB
Providing technical sales support to the Outside Sales team. Preparing, entering and recording sales transactions within the allocat ed regions and product markets. The Inside Sales Engineer maintains contact with the company internally and with customers regarding technical, commercial and logistical matters, and is also involved in the planning process with the Order Handling team.
JOB DESCRIPTION
A. Main Responsibilities
Elaboration of technical and commercial bids. Order processing. Technical and commercial advice to clients (by phone). Keep track of sales information systems. Communication, guidance and information to customers in close cooperation with the sales field.
B. Additional tasks
The compilation and drafting of tenders / quotation concepts pricing according to agreed procedures. Telephone sales and advice about products and applications. Providing information on the status of current orders. Prepare and execute documentation packages. Testing of purchase and spotting anomalies regarding our Terms and Conditions. In consultation with the outside sales engineer, parts of the order can be handled by the inside sales, if applicable. Keeping up with the necessary product knowledge. Receiving customers (about pending orders / requests).
REQUIREMENTS
For the position of Inside Sales Engineer (preferably MTS / HTS Mechanical Engineering or Process Engineering level is required. A thorough knowledge of the Russian and English language s spoken and written are essential. In addition, specific knowledge of the products is required a nd should be familiar with data processing systems such as Oracle, MS Office etc. Communication skills are essential.
