To implement and ensure that the company achieves its strategic objectives, to provide annual business plans on a regular basis and to extend leadership and direction to the staff in the most effective and efficient manner. 

As well as implementing Group Policies and Procedures across QSA and acting as the liaison to Head Office Centralized Divisions such as HR, Finance, IT and Marketing, the incumbent is accountable for the overall performance of the company and for the day-to-day running and management of the companys business.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

Strategy and Finance
- In conjunction with the ED, create and implement an annual overall strategic development plan of QSA
- In conjunction with the ED and Group Head of Finance, create an annual forecast plan of QSAs financial growth projection highlighting proposed revenue streams
- Create, deliver and develop world class training programs that separate QSA from competitors
- In liaison with the ED, take primary responsibility for development of budgets throughout the business and ensure that they are met and to time
- Develop commission structures and targets for the Business Development Team 
- Ensure that all sales revenue are billed and collected in timely fashion
- Review and approve QSA accounts payable invoices and ensure payment in accordance with terms 
- Review and approve petty cash expenditure
- Prepare and submit monthly financial and non-financial reports on general business progress and developments to the ED

Administration
- Keeping in-line with Group Policies and Procedures, develop and oversee a internal procedural manual for administrative tasks
- Ensure all QSA course materials are recorded and updated in the centralized filing system and library 
- Keep up to date with local and international educational legislations and demonstrate an awareness of approaching changes, ensuring team members share this knowledge
- Review and approve QSA procurement requests to Head Office and ensure they are within annual budget
- Ensure that third party suppliers and contractors are insured and licensed

Marketing and Promotion
- Seek out new opportunities and gaps in the market
- Develop new business and generate new revenue streams
- Promote the business through various marketing channels and communications
- Ensure QSA marketing communications does not breach trade description license 
- Proactively develop service levels across the business to exceed client expectations
- Manage effective feedback mechanisms for all clients and regularly take proactive steps to improve client/trainer relationships
- In conjunction with Group IT department work to improve, develop and update the QSA website
- Act as an ambassador for QSA within the wider Qatar community and beyond 

Human Resources
- Monitor, measure and report on organizational development plans and achievements within agreed formats and timescale 
- When necessary, prepare and submit recruitment requests to Group HR for approval 
- In conjunction with the ED and Group HR prepare and update as necessary all job descriptions
- Ensure that all Group HR Policies and Procedures are being adhered to and practiced at the workplace
- Ensure that best practices are developed and implemented at the workplace
- Delegate and manage staff responsibilities and accountabilities 
- Encourage open lines of communication and reporting culture 
- Conduct biannual staff appraisals and performance review and report feedback to Group HR at Head Office
- Implement Group HR Disciplinary Policy and Procedure where appropriate

Facility Management
- Manage and secure all business assets within QSA business premises
- Ensure interior and exterior of QSA business premises are maintained at high professional standard at all times 
- Manage external maintenance contracts and ensure general maintenance routines are adhered to and any repairs are fixed promptly
- Regularly monitor service delivery of all contractors; internal and external
- Manage and maintain any building improvement with minimal disruption to staff and clients
- Direct and supervise caretaking as required in the day to day maintenance and cleaning issues
- In-conjunction with Group Health & Safety Officer, carry out risk assessments at the work place
