Duties and Responsibilities:

• Categorize web sites for EdgeWave’s iPrism Web Filtering product.
• Objectively review multiple web sites per hour and categorize them based on predetermined criteria and the web site content.
• Other duties as required

Experience and Requirements:

• Candidate must have some technical knowledge of computers and the Internet.
• Good English speaking and reading skills are necessary.
• This position requires objectivity and focus and good general knowledge.
• Due to the web site content that will be analyzed candidates must be at least 18 years of age.
• Will be exposed to web site content that ranges from extremely conservative to sexually explicit topics, so must be able to work with this type of material.
• Must quickly acquire an in-depth understanding of the categories and the philosophy behind their implementation.
• Knowledge of URL/ web protocols is required.
• Must have excellent web research skills and analytical abilities.
• Bilingual Russian is preferred. Additional languages are a plus.
  • Candidate does not have to fluently speak the language or be a native speaker, however the ability to read a 2nd language and familiarity with the culture connected to this language(s) is required.
