Job Description
As the Restaurant Manager it is your main responsibility to effectively monitor and manage the daily operations of the Restaurant while providing the support, training and guidance to the employees in order to ensure maximum guest satisfaction. Your further tasks are: to maintain high visibility during service hours and occupancy in order to ensure smooth running of operations and to promote good public relations; to achieve restaurant operational objectives by contributing information and provide recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; to prepare and complete action plans while implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; to identify trends, determine system improvements & implement change; to interview, select, train, supervise, counsel and discipline B&F talents for the efficient operation of the outlet; to organize and conduct departmental meetings and communicating pertinent information to the talents as well as conducting monthly training sessions in order to maximize talent satisfaction, productivity, guest satisfaction and consequently profitability; to control usage of food and beverage items and appropriate usage of equipment, tools and service equipment while ensuring the equipment is used in a correct and safe manner; to forecast covers and revenues while controlling payroll and other relevant costs to minimize loss and misuse in order to achieve and exceed the outlet budgeted profitability; to ensure that the physical facilities and equipment are well kept and that all health and safety regulations are adhered to; to manage and control stock ensuring par levels are maintained to constantly inspect the service areas and supervise the restaurant order preparation to ensure the food quality and service delivery are according to standards.
Requirements
We expect you to have 5 years of experience in Food & Beverage operations in five star properties.
You should have at least 3 years of experience in a supervisory role in Restaurant Operations.
Previous Middle East Experience is preferred.
A College Degree or a Diploma in Hotel Management or in a related filed are required.
We expect you to have in-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office software and Micros.
Proficiency in the English language, both written and verbal, is a must. Proficiency in the Italian language is beneficial.
