Summary

This role is responsible for designing, coding and modifying multiple company websites, from layout to function. You will work with the multiple parties to update the current team site, modify existing sites as well as create new sites all which will utilize the current best practices and technologies, are in line with our brand guidelines and feature user-friendly design and clear navigation.

Responsibilities

• Write well designed, testable, efficient code by using best software development practices

• Must have a strong understanding of UI, cross-browser compatibility, general web functions and standards.

• Deep expertise and hands on experience with Web Applications and programming languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery (or similar library) and API's.

• Integrate data from various back-end services and databases

• Be responsible for maintaining, expanding, and scaling all our sites

• Experience in Mobile Optimization and Responsive Design principles

• Ensure all sites are utilizing Search Engine Optimization best practices

• Stay plugged into emerging technologies/industry trends

• Work with the Creative Services team to ensure all sites reflect the brand standards

• Must be able to show examples that feature a priority in design as well as function.

Requirements

• 5+ years of proven experience in web programming

• Top-notch programming skills and in-depth knowledge of JavaScript, JQuery (or similar library), HTML, HTML5, CSS, CSS3

• Familiarity with PHP, Wordpress and Drupal

• Experience with Social Tools and Relevant API’s (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, OpenGraph, etc.)

• Proficient using Adobe Photoshop

• Basic understanding of Search Engine Optimization process

• Aggressive problem diagnosis and creative problem solving skills

• Strong organizational skills to juggle multiple tasks within the constraints of timelines

• Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced environment and continually learn emerging web technologies and techniques.
