We are seeking an Executive Pastry Chef to work for our client who is a luxury 5* international hotel chain with properties across the world from Beijing to Bangalore and Massachusetts to Mexico.
They have an unshakeable philosophy of unwavering commitment to service, both in their hotels and in their communities and have recognized with numerous awards for being the gold standard of hospitality.
Due to an internal transfer, they are now seeking to appoint an experienced Executive Pastry Chef for their very busy and high profile pastry kitchen and operation. Reporting to the Executive Chef, you will be fully responsible for the daily management & operation of the pastry department, managing around 20-25 pastry chefs and producing a range of international pastries, cakes, sweets, chocolates, savouries etc. for our restaurants, room service, banqueting, events and functions. A background in catering for large numbers would be essential as we can feed up to 2300 people a day.
As per our client’s instructions, we are only seeking applications from Western or European candidates, due to the current quota restrictions on non-Western and European workers in the country.
They offer a tax free salary which is based on your experience & background, in addition to a full expatriate package which is for a Single Status candidate only. Accommodation, meals on duty, uniform & laundry, yearly flight ticket, medical cover will be provided by the company.
