The Accountant in Finance is responsible to independently handle the finance accounting based on vouchers and data received from his/her area of responsibility in the German language. He/she checks, processes and reconciles the finance accounting in the customers own Finance IT Systems according to the customers instructions, while assuring to meet quality standards and internationally accepted accounting principles.

PTP – Purchase to Pay

• Processing of incoming Invoices
• Vendor inquiries/balance confirmations
• Suppliers and employees’ accounts reconciliation
• Processing of payments
• Creation of accruals and provisions for invoices

OTC – Order to Cash

• Posting of manual invoices
• Issuing of manual invoices
• Customer accounts reconciliation, BSP/CASS/own sales reconciliation
• Customer’s inquiries/balance confirmations
• Collection process

RTR – Record to Report

• GL accounts reconciliation (except for accruals)
• Posting of payroll, uploading/posting of bank statements/reports, processing of cash reports
• Bank reconciliation/checking of bank charges
• Banking input and Tax declaration/reconciliation
• Barter agreement reconciliation

Your profile

We expect

• 1-2 years of relevant experience
• Good command of German (B1-B2 acceptable, C1-C2 preferred)
• Good command of English (B1 minimum)
• Master’s / Bachelor’s degree in any discipline (Finance Accounting or Economics related field will be an asset)
• Students with completed 3rd year of studies are also welcome
• Analytical skills and systematic attitude to work
• Very good communication and team work skills
