A successful candidate should have:

- 3 – 5 years of experience in the maintenance or related field.

- Diploma from technical field or higher

- Valid UAE manual driving license

- Excellent Communication Skills, especially in English

- High Organizing and Planning Skills

- Decision making and problem solving ability

- Computer Literacy

- Valid UAE Driving License is a must

Main Duties / Responsibilities include but not limited to:

Handyman Services Supervision

- Organize and provide transportation for assigned teams to requested locations within Dubai.

- Responsible for the vehicle and assets (tools and spares) inside the vehicle as per stock list.

- Ensure the daily scheduled works are attended on time, in accordance with safe working practice by dropping off technical teams on sites.

- Supervise all kind of preventive/reactive maintenance works and arrange required parts/materials before the appointments.

- Ensure the disposal of waste materials in a safe, hygienic manner ensuring that it is available for collection as required.

- Supervision of preventive/reactive works, but not limited to following fields:

• Carpentry works – Production of MDF furniture and skirting, Assembly and repairs of furniture, doors, windows, locks and skirting, Picture/shelves hanging etc.
• Plumbing – Water supply/drainage pipe lines, leakages, blockages, pipe fitting, replacement or installation of sanitary ware, taps, traps, swimming pool plant room works, pool cleaning etc.
• Air-conditioning – AC servicing, repairs, coil replacement, refrigerant filling, leak testing, unit commissioning, actuator and gate valves replacement, insulation of pipelines. AC blower motors removing, installation, repair.
• Electrical – Distribution boards, remedial works for power trips, replacement of breakers, ELCB, contactors, sockets, switches, bulbs, transformers. Wiring, cable laying, termination. Light fixture installation, etc
• Civil – Wall decoration works such as painting, wall papering, using painting techniques, varnishing, spray painting – glazing. Wall plastering, tiling, concrete works, Dry walls - partitioning, suspended ceilings.

- Monitor stock levels of consumable items such as bulbs/tubes, sockets, switches, transformers, PPE, protective sheets, rollers, brushes, corrugated paper rolls and arrange to replenish supplies in accordance with current procedures.

- Maintain appropriate records of works performed, materials used, PPM attended and reporting it as per policies and procedures

- Report emergencies in the case of faults with gas, electric and water supply, or where not immediately available technical services or regular contractors, and report minor faults on site to the Manager.

- Perform routine inspections of residential units to evaluate costs of maintenance problems and requests.

- Responsible to ensure the compliance with the requirements of Health and Safety, other relevant legislation and IFA RS policies and carry out daily tool box talks.
