Assistant Villa Manager is needed for the Hotel in Seychells

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Preparing staff schedules, discipline and recruitment in collaboration with the Villa Manager.
  • Keep Villas in perfect condition implementing checklists, training of Villa Masters and coordination with Maintenance department and Landscaping.
  • To train the Villa Hosts and assure Housekeeping and Maintenance standards are maintained and consistent.
  • Recruitment and development (Including TCI) of actual and new staff members.
  • Ensure that all Villa inventories are adequate to Villa turnover.
  • Responsible for making sure that all cleaning products are the correct ones being used on surfaces and materials.
  • Coordinate and report to the Maintenance Department any maintenance issue that may affect the daily operation.
  • Ensure smooth open communication and collaboration with Villa Manager.
  • Make sure that high levels of guest satisfaction are achieved.
  • Make sure that stocks of goods and materials used in villa operation are available at all times and stored in the right area.
  • Make sure that health and safety rules are being followed in the department
  • To maintain appropriate records and filing systems for the successful completion of all job requirements

    Candidate Requirements :

  • Certificate or Diploma in Housekeeping / FO Operations
  • Additional language skills : Russian
    • Excellent communication skills, team work
  • Capable of adapting to different cultures and ways of life
  • Expected to regularly work long hours, on evenings, on week-ends, public holidays and during cyclonic weather
  • Previous experience in tourism industry would be an advantage
