Position Description:
We are currently seeking a world class Executive Pastry Chef to join our team of dedicated culinary professionals. Reporting to Excutive Chef - this position will lead, manage and organize all requirements for his repective kitchen to the highest standards and in accordance to the standard operating procedures as emanated by the Executive Chef. Ensure proper sanitation in the outlet kitchen under his jurisdiction, adequate stocks of food & beverage, inter-department coordination and training. Carries full responsibility of the operations equipment including its inventory levels. Stands - Assist Executive Sous Chef during the absence of Executive Chef. Maintains the resort food cost at all times. Ensures and enforces the set service standard procedures by directing, supervising and motivating staff to perform to the highest level of service. Communicates with guests and shares feedback with Chefs and Management to ensure high levels of food and service quality and guest satisfaction are maintained at all times.
Position Requirements::
The ideal candidate will meet the following criteria:
- Culinary Diploma
- Minimum 5 years experince in a creative fine dining pastry cuisine of a 5 Star International Hotel
- Quality oriented and has previous experience working at a multi-cultural culinary team
- Excellent leadership skills, Proactive and able to develop members of our world class culinary team
- Fluent in English and has excellent communication skills
- Intermediate HCCP certified
- Intermediate computer skills
