Assistant Restaurant Manager

  • Sound Financial & Business Acumen Superior wine, cocktail and spirits knowledge Creativity and the ability to think on your feet
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills Coordinating the entire operation of the restaurant during scheduled shifts Managing staff and providing them with feedback
  • Responding to guest complaints Ensuring that all employees adhere to the company uniform standards Meeting and greeting customers and organizing table reservations
  • Advising customers on menu
  • Interviewing, training and motivating staff
  • Helping in any area of the restaurant when circumstances dictate
  • To generate new ideas for service and products that will maintain a competitive and leading edge 
  • To be proactive in prospecting
  • creating new Restaurant business Incorporates
  • guest satisfaction as a component of departmental meetings with a focus on continuous improvement 
  • Meets with guests on an informal basis during meals or upon departure to obtain feedback on quality of food and beverage, service levels and overall satisfaction Acts as the guest service role model for the restaurants,
  • sets a good example of excellent customer service and creates a positive atmosphere for guest relation

EDUCATION QUALIFICATION:

  • Bachelor in Hotel Management or Restaurant Management

EXPERIENCE:-

  • Minimum 2 years of experience within 5 star branded resorts in the same capacity – Essential
  • Ability to speak, write and converse advanced level of English – Essential
  • Knowledge of other languages would be counted as advantage
