The Role

We are seeking a qualified Facilities, Health & Safety professional reporting directly to the Business Manager, and working closely with the Senior Leadership Group.
As Facilities, Health & Safety Manager you will take responsibility for managing the facilities of the college to ensure these are fully functional and safe whenever required, and to implement appropriate health and safety and environmental procedures to support the colleges policies. You be required to implement appropriate security procedures to protect students, staff, visitors and college assets, to carry out safety inspections and risk assessments and investigate incidents and organise health and safety training and familiarization for staff, students and contractors.

Requirements

You will have knowledge and practical skills in building works and civil maintenance as well as working knowledge of health, safety, security and environmental practices. 

We would require the successful candidate to have at least 5 years experience of working in a similar role. Experience of working within Qatar, specifically with relevant regulatory authorities such as Civil Defense will be a distinct advantage. You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills in English with the ability to communicate and establish productive relationships with Governors, staff, students, parents and contractors.

You will have internationally recognised formal health and safety qualifications.
