KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- To anticipate guest needs, and handle guest inquiries in a helpful and attentive Anantara manner.
- To ensure that arrival / departure experience is smooth and seamless for all guests and that the overall guests’ experience is enhanced monitored, recorded and followed through while guests are at the resort during the night and day time.
- He/she will build relationships with our guest’s to assure and ensure that they will receive a true Anantara Experience . He/she will take full ownership while handling guests’ complaints and opportunities ensuring that it’s resolved to guests’ satisfaction and that an investigation has taken place to avoid reoccurrence.
- Responsible for assisting, guiding, and supervising the Front Office Executives
- To supervise and monitor daily Front Desk, Guest Service Center, Concierge, Business Center, Lobby, Arrival Center (Shiokh Welcome Center) situation and activities to ensure proper standards and products are delivered with the standards of service of Anantara
- Be able to fill a Front Office Executive role in times of high occupancy if situation requires it.
- Conducts courtesy calls for all in-house guests.
- To have a complete knowledge of the hotel product, including room types, rates, relative features and facilities, food and beverage outlets and promotions, spa and health club, and other Anantara properties.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Hospitality Management or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year work experience in a supervisory role such as Front Office Supervisor / PABX Supervisor / Guest Relations Supervisor / Concierge Supervisor
- Luxury 5 star hotel/resort experience
- Middle East experience preferably
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English and Arabic is a plus
- Highly organized, result-oriented with the ability to be flexible and work well under pressure
- Must have the ability to handle a multitude of tasks and guest requests
- Knowledge in Micros-Fidelio (Opera) Property Management System
- Strong guest service orientation and training skills background
- Ability to work independently and prioritize responsibilities
